Dead Tooth, Now What? Take it out or Save it?

We've seen patients who are more likely to choose to get a tooth removed over saving a tooth. The common reasons for this woud be either the patient is experiening severe tooth pain or because it would cost less too remove the tooth than to save it. In most cases it's both, the pain and the cost. As dental professions we have our patient's best interest is in our mind, when it comes to their overall health. We certainly don't like to see them in pain but we rather help them get rid of the pain and to save a tooth. Because we believe it's easy to get rid of a tooth but it's harder to get it back or replaced.

The cost of dental procedures can cause people to feel discouraged to wanting to get their teeth fix. At Dr. Patel's office we offer different type of financing to help our patients get their dental procedures started. We found our patients are more likely to spend less money when their dental problems are being adressed at the early stages. That's why we always remind our patients to schedule their annual check up every 3-6 months.

Has a friend or family member caused more anxiety and fear in you after hearing their lastest experience at their dental visit? We're here to tell you there's nothing to be afraid of.
