New year New You !

Did you know that most medical issues are linked to gum disease! The bacteria in your mouth are the only bacteria that can survive in other areas for example in your heart. They have found that patients with cardio vascular issues have also had periodontal disease. If gum disease isn't controlled, it can lead to a heart attack. The best thing you can do to prevent that is schedule your 6-month checkup so that you can get x-rays done and be fully checked for any signs of periodontal disease. If you do have gum disease, we recommend getting a deep cleaning, and once that is performed, you will come in every 3 months for a regular cleaning to keep the plaque and bacteria low.

Just like oral diseases can affect your health, having health conditions can affect your mouth, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, HIV/AIDS, and Alzheimer's disease.

Here are things you can do to improve your smile
